HyperDoc can communicate with WMTS enabled GIS web server to automatically retrieve configuration via so called Get Capabilities service.

 

To do that, go to admin console:Image Removed

Select Add button, on the popup select WMTS and paste the URLImage Removed

HyperDoc will automatically download the XML WMTS descriptor and show you a list of available map sources like so:Image Removed

Using check boxes you can now select sources, and add them to predefined sources in HyperDoc. You should select ones that were not added previously – otherwise nothing will happen.

Now, go to main view, create a new object, add Drawing, Add Map, select new serviceImage Removed

Set default view for map drawing

It is possible to set map drawing view as default when selecting document connected to this map:

  • go to desired Document with map connected,

  • map loads in full extents,

  • zoom into desired zoom level,

  • open Composite Drawing Manager anc click on map drawing,

  • to use current view as default for this map click on Set Map Extents from view button,

  • to reset extents to full map click on 

    Reset

    Reset Map Extents.

Please remember that setting default extents of map:

  • requires Edit rights to document object and it's content

  • is versioned normally

  • is same for all users

  • applies to instance of map conected to one document (there can be more same maps connected to different documents with different default extents)
