Layout The layout describes what the Tesslets are presented to the user , and what the available perspective sets are available in each of the selected Tesslet.

After creating new perspectives perspective sets and activating configurationconfigurations, you can then add those these perspectives to the Tree or Grid Tesslet.

Managing Layouts

You can define as many layouts as needed. Each layout contains have the flexibility to define multiple layouts, each containing the following information:

  • Perspective sets available in all views

  • For some views,

    class and selected fields (Supported for GridView and Popup Grid View)

Managing Views

Views The views list is built in predefined and it cannot be modifiedaltered:

  • Main TreeView

    : Represents a tree-like structure in the main Archive UI.

  • Main Object properties Panel

    : Displays object properties in a list view.

  • Main GridView

     - represents

    : Presents the main tabular object view.

  • Main DocView

     - represents main

    : Serves as the primary document viewer.

  • Popup Grid View

     - represents

    : Provides an additional grid view

Perspective Sets

At the moment limited class fields feature is supported only for Main GridView and Popup Grid View. It will have no effect for other Views.

Tip

Limited set of class fields is highly recommended to be assigned to Popup Grid View as this is a very compact view not well suited to showing too many columns.

By default, if a class in a given view and layout does not have any fields selected, all fields will be used.   Once at least a single field is added to the Selected fields Fields list, then only fields from this list will be used.
