Introduction

The system allows for the use of strict or relaxed versioning. In both cases scenarios, multiple version versions of objects can be stored in the system and accessed through the version manager.So when object like

When an object such as a building or room is deleted, this will be done using the action is performed using the versioning system so to ensure that the object is still remains available for historical access.

Some In certain use cases require that , it may be necessary to completely remove a specific object or part of it's metadata is completely wiped out its metadata from the system. This should affect , affecting all system versions.
For this purpose To address this requirement, we introduce a Secure Erase function function.

Secure erase of object metadata

Right Click on object and select to chosee choose Erase Object Metadata function.

Use Use the Clear button button to select fields to be erased. Confirm the operation by selecting selecting the Erase function function in the bottom toolbar.

Confirm once more that you want to permanently erase these metadata across all system versions (Master archive, drafts, etc.)



Once confirmed, the metadata is erased.

Secure erase objects

Select object and right click on open context menu. Select  and then  Erase "<object name>"  option to start the erase process.

Use the   icon to preview related objects that will be erased as well if , especially if the Subtree option in is turned ON. Those objects are selected The selection of these objects is based on the system's "context perspective" - same as with ," similar to standard delete functionality.
If the subtree option is not chosen, only the selected object will be securely removed.

If Once you are sure certain that this is a the correct set of objects to erase, select proceed by selecting the Erase button.

Another confirmation message will be showndisplayed:
