General System Settings
Users serving different roles within the organization may have diverse user interface requirements, influenced by both functionality and access rights. The layout assigned to a user plays a crucial role in determining the shape of the user interface, specifying which Tesslets and Perspective Sets are accessible.
The availability of features such as the Administrative Panel, Data Exchange, and Version Manager is primarily determined by user roles. Meanwhile, the visibility of specific object classes and fields depends on Security Schemes (refer to Security Schemes Specification) as well as Field Level Security definitions (see Field Level Security Specification).
Additionally, users have the ability to override certain settings according to their preferences, such as system language and default units.
