Layers Security

Security settings for Layers can be managed in an Administrative panel for Global layers or directly under specific Document object, for Local Layers.

Local Layers can be managed by owner or users with Edit rights to such layer.
For each local/private layer a user can select View&Edit permission to Users or Groups.

Rights for Global & Local Layers are assigned by selecting users or groups next to a User Right:

View	User with that right can view given Layer and its content.
Edit	User with that right can edit layer content. View permission is added automatically as well.

Global Layer properties like styles (Toolset Properties) cannot be changed locally, even when Edit right is granted.
Such changes can only be performed in an Administrative console by and Administrator.

Local Layers created by user in a specific Drawing are, by default, only available to their owner.
A user can choose Users and Groups that this layer is available to using View or Edit right assignment.
Users with Edit right can change all Layer parameters including content and Layer Parameters, as well as Security.
Layer Owner cannot be changed or revoked full access to given Layer.
