Usage
Quick Search is available to use from both Tree and Grid views.
It allows searching for objects and the result will be displayed in either Tree View or Grid depending on a Quick Search field used.
Results list includes a Match property that show what part of metadata was matched by current search criteria.
On the right hand side of the search results there is a Path icon is present:
Use it to display Path window with found object location:
Advanced search icon can be used to open full, advanced search window in case Quick Search does not give excepted results.
Please note, that Quick Search results will be limited to objects visible to the user in terms of Security.
User cannot find Objects from different Perspective than currently used.
Configuration
Administrators define what Object Classes can be searched for using Quick Print.
Searching within Search Classes (Object Classes) is done in context of chosen Search Fields (Class Fields).
Child classes must be added individually. It's not enough to add only parent class (eg. Document → Arkitekt)
Quick Search only works with following field types: Integer, Serial, Text, Dictionaries and GUID.
