System Requirements for End User
There are three major aspects of client computer that affect the compatibility, ease of use and performance of the application:
Browser Requirements
Most browsers are updated regularly or even daily this making it impossible to test all versions and list them here.
As a result, we assume compatibility with latest stable version of the following browsers:
Browser | Information |
Microsoft Edge (1) | Latest stable version supported |
Mozilla Firefox (all platforms) | Latest stable version supported |
Google Chrome (Windows and Mac) | Latest stable version supported |
Safari (Mac) | Latest stable version on latest OS release supported |
Internet Explorer 11 (2) | This browser support will be dropped soon |
For best experience we recommend using Chromium based browsers like: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Brave
There might be many other compatible browsers, especially those based on Chromium project. If the browser implements all webs standards correctly,
it should work just fine but we will only support the ones listed above.
More information:
There are older versions of Microsoft EDGE based on different "engine" that will not work properly. Please make sure that you are using latest version that is based on Chromium.
This can be checked by to main menu, Help and Feedback- About Microsoft EDGE:Internet Explorer 11 was a very popular browser in corporate environments. Now it is replaced by Microsoft EDGE.
This browser will no longer be supported as it is not being updated and does not allow us to use modern standards for web application development.
Microsoft recommends using this browser only for legacy applications. Explorer 11 support in Microsoft 365 products and services will be ended on August 17, 2021. (Read more)
Microsoft EDGE browser is part of latest Windows 10 update and Windows will suggest to use it as a default browser. If you do not have access to it, please install one of the other recommended browsers.
Screen / Display
Screens offer higher PPI (pixel per inch) densities so it's hard to state a specific minimal resolution that makes the UI usable.
With standard PPI we recommend using at least Full HD screen (1920x1080). For 2K / 4K screens PPI will be increased and Windows or Mac will use display scaling to make the text readable.
As a result the resolution of 3840 x 2160 in 4K screen will not give you 4 times more space for the application. In this case its the physical screen size that makes most of the difference.
As a general rule, the bigger and higher density the screen is, the better will be your experience with using the application. For daily work with drawings we recommend 24" or bigger screen.
On the other hand, the smaller the screen gets, the worse will the experience be. We do not recommend using a small 12" laptop screen for daily work, but the application will still work on it.
The application does not support dual (or more) screen setup at the moment it will use only one screen.
Hardware requirements
There are no special hardware requirements - if you have a modern PC or laptop that can handle most of the websites, the application will also work fine.
In general a 4GB of RAM and a dual core or more CPU will provide sufficient performance. On the base line, your hardware should fulfill the requirements of the operating system and browser used.
Other software requirements
No specific software or browser plugins are required
