Guide: Manual import of raster drawing
This guide will show you how to add new raster drawing to HDC manually by user interface.
Creation of composite drawing and adding raster drawing
First we need too add Composite Document to selected object (of type that allows content) -> use right mouse button click on selected object on Grid Panel and select New drawing option
Â
This creates a Composite Drawing. Toolbar will appear in the top of the Viewer. Click on Manage button to open Composite Drawing Manager.
Â
In Composite Drawing Manager click on Add Raster button to get Upload raster drawing dialog.
Select raster image and optionally you can also add .taf parameter file. Next, click on Upload button and import will be done.Â
Raster file will be added and it's content displayed.
Â
Raster parameters
Raster drawing is now visible in CDM (Composite Drawing Manger) added under Composite Drawing.Â
Clicking on raster drawing will display on right side of CDM it's parameters.Â
Â
Parameters for raster files are created when drawing is added to database from (ordered from most important to lowest):Â
from raster file itself (DPI, orientation, length and height - if they exists),
from .taf parameter file,
default values are taken (if none of above are available).
