Universal Viewer Pane can be used to display attachments, interactive 2D drawings, maps, videos, 3D models*, PointClouds* and more.

Viewer, depending on the context, provides various toolbar sections and functions.

Document / Photo View in Popup Object Properties

An additional compact document view window has been included as a side panel to the object properties popup.

The main function of this feature is to enable users to access additional details about a specific object without altering the global context (i.e., what's selected in a grid, tree, etc.).

For instance, when navigating the tree structure, if a user selects a floor, they can then either load a document representing this floor or choose another object from the Grid View such as space or doors.

This functionality allows users to examine a floor layout. However, what if they want to explore more details about Space or equipment like Doors and Windows? Previously, users had to change the entire context by selecting such an object in the tree view.

Now, with the extended object properties, users can view both metadata of the object and document content like photographs, manuals, or other drawings without changing the main context.

While these documents can also be viewed in the main interface itself, this feature serves as a convenient shortcut.

Accessing the Side Document Panel

To open or close the side document panel, simply use the list icon toggle button located on the bottom right corner of the popup properties window.

Side Document Panel

The content of the side document panel depends on the linked documents and a set perspective used to filter specific data. While its main purpose is to display documents such as manuals or object photos, it can also be configured to show any class of objects, for example, equipment in the room.



Available menu options:

  • Add new object: This option allows you to add documents and objects directly within this view.

  • Edit object: Use this option to edit the metadata of the selected object.

  • Delete: Choose this option to delete the selected object.

  • View / Navigate: Navigate to the selected object in the main interface.

  • Expand / Show: Open the current document in a popup window for full-screen viewing.

A right-click expandable menu provides access to additional options such as adding new content or attachments.

To save space, visible object columns can be customized in Layout Manager. This enables selection of only the most important fields (Administrator function only).
